JOIN US FOR A FULL DAY EXCURSION TO SANTA CRUZ ISLAND WITH A STOP AT THE PAINTED CAVE!

Activity Details

• Crossing time to Prisoner’s is approximately 1.5 hours
• After a brief stop at Prisoners Harbor to offload people, the boat continues to Painted Cave.
• Our 64′ catamaran will cruise near the entrance of the cave to view one of the largest known sea caves on the planet. There is no landing at Painted Cave, but the photos and memories should be unforgettable.
• After visiting Painted Cave, the vessel returns to Prisoner’s Harbor, After visiting Painted Cave, passengers return to Prisoner’s Harbor to disembark and spend the rest of their time ashore. Disembarking at Prisoner’s Harbor requires passengers to climb a ladder of 2- 8 rungs depending on the tide, and to descend the ladder when re-boarding. Passengers have approximately 3+ hours to spend the remainder of their day hiking, picnicking and exploring Prisoner’s Harbor.

Check-In Details

Weather dependent. The captain will make the determination as to whether or not to enter the cave onsite. This trip is to view the cave from the entrance.

In case of unfavorable weather or sea conditions, Island Packers may cancel or modify departure times at 5:30 AM on the day of your trip. On the morning of your departure, after 5:30 AM, please call 805-642-1393, select option (4) and listen to the recorded message for the status of your trip. Island Packers will NOT call you if weather prevents us from going.

Options for Weather option days: Trip Credit or Reschedule. Refunds are 90% with 10% fee

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Reservations of 1-19 passengers must cancel, reduce or change reservation at least 120 hours or 5-days prior to your
  departure time to receive a refund.
• Reservations of 20 or more passengers must be cancelled no less than 30 days prior to departure to receive a refund.
• Camper transportation reservations for holiday time periods must be cancelled 14 days prior to the departure date to receive a refund.

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE HONORED WHEN BOOKING ONLY ONE LEG OF A TRIP. THE CUSTOMER MUST SECURE AN OUTBOUND TRIP AND A RETURN TRIP.
