CHANNEL ISLANDS CAMPING

CAMPING IN THE CHANNEL ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK

- AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU COME PROPERLY PREPARED!

Booking a Campsite

Campsite availability books quickly and usually requires advance planning. Just like any National Park, campsites are limited and fill well in advance of the date. Weekends fill more quickly than week days, but during the busy Spring and Summer months weekday site also can become full in advance. We suggest you plan ahead to insure you get the trip you desire.

Preparation For Your Trip

Preparation is key to a great island experience. For example, not all islands have drinking water, so it is important to know the water situation on the island you will be visiting.

This information is available on each island camping page under the heading “Camping Preparation | What You Need to Know & Bring” You’ll also need to visit the Camper / Overnight Gear Guidelines page so your gear meets our guidelines (Limitations on size and weight are also located on that page).
