K-12 Education Trips Funding
Through a partnership with Terra Marine Research & Education, Inc, Island Packers receives sponsorships for eligible classrooms to take educational trips to the Channel Islands National Park and National Marine Sanctuary through their “No Child Left Inside” program.
To qualify for funding, you must be:
- based in California
- a formal K-12 classroom group (no camps, after school programs)
- applying for a “Floating Classroom” day trip (no overnight groups)
- able to demonstrate financial need

Funding will be granted for 30 students plus one teacher as eligible classes are matched with sponsors. Sponsors are not always available.
